chuck is a funny guy, in fact, i would probably not know what to do with myself if he wasn't a funny guy. i'd probably go crazy. last night we were exchanging back rubs. sensual back rubs... no, i'm just kidding. fall asleep back rubs that we do. darn.
so, i was "barely touching" (that's what we call scratching lightly i guess... goose bumpy scratching) with my left hand. we're both relaxing into sleep and out of the blue he says, "use the right one." i was like (automatically), "no." he says, "you're better with the right one. uuuse it." i'll admit i was doing a half-ass left handed back rub BUT i wasn't going to just switch. yanno? (dammit, lilu)
"i'm not going to use the right one," i said while laughing, "i'm comfortable." "fine," he says, "i'm using the captain for yours." chuck has the adorable habit of calling his big toe "the captain." (who needs kids? boyfriends say the darndest things.) to which i said, "no! and he is not a captain!" he comes right back with, "yes he is. he's the captain of all the other toes."
i switched to right hand. who can argue with that logic?

i don't think i've heard that before... i'll have to interrogate chuck to see if he stole his adorableness from bill murray characters. wouldn't be surprised.
